(Updated for September 2019)

Team managers maintain the list of their athletes and number allocation on the Club's page of the Surrey League website.

Site Access

1. If you don't have an account Surrey League site email info@surreyleague.org to tell us which club you are associated with.  We will then grant you access to your club's page.

2. Log in.  Browse to the 'clubs' page, then to your club.  You should now be able to edit your club, but nobody else's.

Athletes Records and Allocation of numbers - Men and Ladies

Look at your club's page here. Athletes registered in previous seasons will be listed.  There are separate tabs for the Ladies (inc Junior Girls), Men and lastly Boys.  Data is sorted by surname, but you can sort by clicking columns if you wish.

The guide to reviewing and maintaining your club's page is as follows:

  1. Review the list for duplicate athletes. If there are any duplicate entries for athletes, please delete them - you'll see a red 'X' at the side of the row as you move your mouse
  2. If there are any mis-spellings of athletes names, click the name and correct it
  3. Please try to fill in the correct date of birth.  This is essential for both junior races and for working out veterans rankings.  If we do not have this, we will have to assume they are "Senior".
  4. Tick the 2nd Claim box for any second claim runner. (For the men/junior boys these are the names declared to the Honorary General Secretary by 1st September, for the ladies/girls the requirement is to declare the second claim runner on the club's page two weeks in advance of the race in question).
  5. Please also complete the England Athletics number of your athlete
  6. Delete any runners no longer running for your club or not running cross country
  7. Add any new athletes by clicking the 'Add a Member' option at the top right of your screen

In particular if you don't know the date of birth (and ideally the EA number) of your athlete, please try to find out.  The "England Athletics number" and "Power of 10" link will be referenced by the Surrey League website when you edit the data.

Number allocation

When you are happy with your athlete details you then can allocate them a number for the season.

Everyone keeps the same number all season, so only allocate numbers to athletes you are fairly sure are running this season.  If you need to allocate an extra number beyond your allocated range, email info@surreyleague.org and we try to sort this out for you but we are hoping that your allocated range of numbers will generally be adequate to cover you for the season.    You do NOT need to  fill in separate declarations on race day.

Lastly behind the scenes, the Surrey League will be doing its best to match runners against England Athletics and Power of Ten and validate the data as an added service to the runners and clubs.

Please contact info@surreyleague.org for any help or feedback.
