Date:   Saturday, 11th November 2018

Venue:  Nork Park, Banstead

Start Times:  Senior Men (incl. U20 and Vets) – 3.00pm

Distance:  Senior Men (incl. U20 and Vets) – 5.4 miles

Course:  Consists of 1 short lap followed by 2 long laps.  A mixture of parkland and wooded trails.  Cross country spikes or off road shoes recommended.

Transport/Parking

Nork Park is accessed from The Drive off the A217 just North of the Burgh Heath junction with the A240.  There is a car park at the Nork Park end of The Drive with space for 30-40 cars with plenty of nearby on-street parking. Note that The Drive can only be accessed heading in a Northerly direction from the A217. Alternatively, parking is available on roads near Nork Way off the A240 at the Northern end of the park with a 5-10 minute walk to the start. Please do not park in the Community Center off Nork Way.

Course 

A course map is enclosed. The race start/finish is adjacent to the car park by The Drive. 

The course consists of 1 short lap followed by 2 large laps.  The route will be marked with flags/signs/tape and there will be marshals at key junctions.  Recommended footwear will be fell shoes/spikes (or shoes with very good off-road grip).  

We will be sharing the park and runners are requested to respect fellow users and take care as appropriate.

Changing/toilets 

There are no changing room and toilet facilities available in the park.

Numbers

Team managers must ensure that their athletes have been declared on-line prior to the start of the race.  Numbers should be the same as those allocated to athletes for the first fixture.

Results schedule

Provisional results will be compiled following the race and will be posted on the Surrey League website on Saturday evening.  These will be provisional and subject to change.  Final results will be updated accordingly on the website.
