Travel

Holland Sports is a 5 minute walk from Hurst Green train station (16-24 minutes from East Croydon, 3 trains each hour) and we encourage you to use public transport if possible. Oxted has good parking options and is a 2 minute train journey from Hurst Green.

If you drive, PLEASE car share. Limited parking is available at Moor House School, also on Mill Lane, next door to Holland Sports clubhouse.

Parking on surrounding roads is allowed but DO park sensibly. Don’t create a traffic hazard or block people in neighbouring house.

Note: Mill Lane is narrow, but it’s also a bus route, so take particular care not to park opposite another car

Facilities

Race HQ is at Holland Sports clubhouse. There will be limited changing facilities but we will provide portaloos. The club house will be open, and serving tea, coffee, burgers and bacon butties and stronger post-race refreshments too!

The courses

Both the 8km (mens) & 6km (ladies) courses will start in a large open public field. After 500m runners enter a 2m wide gravel / mud path for 200m before entering the back fields of Holland Sports. Runners will then run a 3.2km (men) / 2.2km (ladies) loop twice before running back up the 200m gravel path and back into the Holland Sports field to finish in front of the club house.
