SURREY LEAGUE CROSS COUNTRY, 13 JANUARY, BECKENHAM PLACE PARK

Travel: Race HQ is the White House Mansion reached by car uphill from the Beckenham Hill Gate, Beckenham Hill Road, BR3 1UH near the railway station at Beckenham Hill.  Beckenham Junction rail and tram station, around 10 minutes walk from the start, is also suitable for pedestrians using the gate in the South West Corner of the park. Follow the Green Chain Walk signs from either railway station. Runners are strongly encouraged to travel by public transport or car share.

Parking: There is a small car park near the White House Mansion reached from the gate near Beckenham Hill Station. There is parking available on the streets outside the park, but no parking on the private roads beyond Foxgrove Road on the edge of the park (Beckenham Place Park and Westgate Road).

Facilities: There are toilets and a café. There are no changing or shower facilities so please come ready changed. Number collection will be in or outside the White House.

Start: This is at 2.30pm, about 3 minute’s walk from the White House.

Course: This is a 2-lap course. A course map is available. The course is mostly grassland but also some gravel paths and woodland and is suitable for spikes or cross country fell shoes.
